Vanishingly few Australians visit their doctor to discuss adopting healthier lifestyle behaviours (excercise, diet, smoking etc.). Be one of the best, and talk to your doctor about your health concerns. They can give you good advice and help you to order blood tests, which are often the only way to get a deep understanding of your current health. If you don’t trust your doctor, find a new one. There are plenty of doctors out there, so invest the time and find one that is right for you. If at this point, you decide to leave my site and apply that single piece of advice, I will be a very happy man. I suggest ACNEM as a good starting point for finding an enlightened GP. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Be one of the best, find yourself a great doctor – and visit them!
